Fresh from winning his first two BRIT Awards in February, superstar DJ Calvin Harris has put his Hollywood Hills on the market for £4.1 million ($5.75 million).

The 35-year old record producer, who is originally from Scotland, bought the lavish 1940s property in 2017 from fellow musician, Steve Angello, for just over £3.8 million ($5 million), according to MailOnline

Situated above the picturesque Hollywood Reservoir, the luxury residence has three bathrooms, four bedrooms, an outdoor pool and a bar lounge area, and is also available to rent at an eye-watering £19,208 ($25,000) per month.

In addition to the main house, the property also comes with a two-storey guesthouse and recording studio, measuring up to just over 6,000sq ft.

The building may date back to the 1940s, but the interior has been extensively updated, although it has retained several characterful period touches.

An 18-foot high wooden beamed ceiling, chateau-style fireplace and statement chandelier all feature and there is fashionable parquet flooring in several rooms.

Residents can enjoy views of the lush surrounding countryside from the wall of windows in the open-plan living room, before migrating to the second light-filled lounge area.

In the kitchen, black stone countertops continue the monochrome theme, and open out onto the courtyard and swimming pool – perfect for al fresco California entertaining.

On cooler days, diners can use the indoor dining area, which features a large wooden table.

While the secluded mansion would be perfect for private parties — with music provided by the hit-machine himself, perhaps — those seeking an early night can reach the second floor bedrooms via a French country-style staircase.

The master bedroom is laid out over two floors with a bathroom featuring a large cream bath tub, white cabinets and a window seat with views of the pool below.

The two-storey guest house is home to a recording studio, currently filled with a range of guitars and relaxing sofas for taking time out between recording sessions.

Downstairs, a polished black marble fireplace adds to the tasteful stylings of the property.

In the secluded outdoor seating area and balcony, guests can relax on the large grey sofas, surrounded by plants for privacy, with the bright lights of Los Angeles visible in the distance.

The producer has been developing his property portfolio over the past few years. His main base is said to be a £15 million house in the Hollywood Hills.

Forbes’ top-earning DJ in the world is also understood to have recently splashed out a whopping £10.6 million ($13.8 million) on an empty property complete with 2.34 acres of land in nearby Bel-Air.

In 2016, Harris reportedly spent £2.3 million ($3 million) on a five-bedroom Somerset house for his parents to relocate to from the family home, having bought his mother a new vacuum cleaner with the first money he earned from making music, according to one report.

In the same year, Harris also put his Sunset Strip “party house” on the market for £6.9 million.

The music producer’s love of luxury property also extends to his musical output; the song ‘Mansion’ featured on his 2012 album 18 Months.
