And Peter Andre melted fans’ hearts as he shared a sweet Instagram snap of son Theo following in his mum’s footsteps and playing doctors on Friday. 

The Mysterious Girl singer, 46, shared the candid snap of his youngest wrapping a medical toy around Emily’s arm and pretending to take her blood pressure.

Theo, two, looked incredibly cute in a striped T-shirt and denim shorts as he played around with his mum, 29.

Emily kept things casual in a black T-shirt dress with her hair in a ponytail as she smiled down at Theo while no doubt giving him tricks of the trade.

Proud dad Peter posted the sweet snap on Instagram with the caption: ‘Hmm wonder what he wants to be when he’s older. Dr Theodore James sounds kind of cool I think’. 

Fans were quick to comment on how little Theo was following in his mum’s footsteps.  A fan commentated: ‘Taking after his mummy’.

It comes after Peter admitted he advised Emily to end their relationship following the death of his brother Andrew back in 2012.

In a recent interview, the TV personality detailed his partner’s support throughout the difficult time and confessed he misjudged grief for another bout of the depression, following his first battle with the mental health issue in the late 90s.

The musician also revealed he stayed in bed for months as he took a six-year break from his career amid his anxiety struggles before reemerging on the scene on 2004’s edition of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. 

Peter said he hit a rough patch after his beloved brother Andrew died from a short battle with kidney cancer aged 54 in December 2012.

Following his loss, he reconsidered his romance with doctor Emily who he was dating for just under a year at the time.

Reflecting on the low period in his life, the singer told The Guardian: ‘I said: “You can either stay and stick with me through this, which personally I wouldn’t, or you can go.”‘

Despite his suggestions, Emily proved to be in the relationship for the long run as she said: ‘It’s not even a question. We’re going to get through it together.’

Elsewhere in the discussion, Peter admitted he kept low-key for over half a decade and moved to the US due to the stress of his busy career, and his battle with anxiety. 

The star, who has been in the spotlight since he was 16, revealed he suffered from panic attacks after he was viciously attacked by a stranger in his 20s.

He explained: ‘I couldn’t breathe. I ended up in hospital, and the panic attacks would come one after another. Years later, after therapy, I realised it all stemmed from that fear of being killed. I know it sounds dramatic.’
