Samantha Armytage has lifted the curtain on red carpet glamour.

The Sunrise host tells this week’s Stellar magazine that she needed a ‘village’ of helpers to achieve her drop-dead gorgeous look at June’s Logies

The 42-year-old says the first thing she did after getting her photos taken for the event was thank her beauty squad.

She writes: ‘In the spirit of TV’s night of nights I vainly checked my own shots first, making sure I’d properly credited all the people who prepped, preened and literally pushed me onto the carpet earlier that evening.’

Sam added: ‘We all need a bit of help sometimes. None of us were pretending that, as grown women, we’d actually dressed ourselves’.

Taking to her Instagram account on Logies night, Sam tagged five people, indicating they were responsible for her look.

Also tagged Natalie Shehata, a fashion stylist who works at the Seven Network and no doubt has worked with Sam before.

Given due credit was American accessories designer David Yurman, as well as Australian luxury jewellers Fairfax & Roberts, who provided the baubles Sam wore.

Fashion designer Carla Zampatti was included in the thank yous – she designed the head-turning red dress the TV host wore on the night.

Sam also flaunted her weight loss at the Logies, having told News.com.au in May that she had lost 10 kilos after signed on as a Weight Watchers ambassador.

But she said she was slimming down for her health and well-being rather than for cosmetic reasons.

Takes a village! In total, Sam tagged five people in her Instagram photos as a means of giving them credit for her look, including designer Carla Zampatti who was behind her red dress

‘It’s not just about losing weight, it’s about a holistic approach to life and about maintaining weight which is the hardest thing for me to do as a shift worker,’ she said at the time.

The TV star added: ‘I feel great, absolutely fantastic – don’t forget I get up at 3.15am so being a bit lighter and having more energy throughout the day really helps. It’s a nice feeling and I want to keep going.’
