Paul Hollywood spent an hour on the phone trying to cancel ex-Summer Monteys-Fullam’s charity skydive so he could get £560 back.

The celebrity chef, 53, and 24-year-old barmaid ex-girlfriend split after Hollywood attempted to pressurise her into signing a gagging order.

The former couple have since become embroiled in a public row after Hollywood accused Ms Monteys-Fullam of trying to sell stories to the press, and she fired back by taking to social media to ‘like’ a selection of comments criticising her ex.

Now, the Bake Off star has attempted to cancel a skydive that Summer and her sister Crystal, 15, were due to take part in the event to raise money for an animal charity in Canterbury, called the Whisky Sanctuary.

A source at Skydive Headcorn told The Sun: ‘Paul says he paid for it so wanted his money back now they’ve split.

‘He spent the best part of an hour trying to convince them to give him £560.

‘But they said it was too close before the jump was taking place to cancel. They were a bit taken aback by the whole thing.

‘It was a charity skydive so it would be the animals they were raising money for who would be punished, not Summer and Crystal.

‘It feels a bit low to drag a charity skydive into his row with her.’

Summer and her sister heard about Paul’s attempt to cancel the charity skydive, and did not go.

The couple’s disagreements since the split do not end there.

They are also in a dispute over what to do with their pets, including a £35 chicken called Karen.

The former couple’s relationship broke down just a few days after the TV star’s divorce from ex-wife Alexandra Hollywood was granted.
