As a world renowned Hollywood movie star she has access to some of the biggest celebrity names in the world.
But Naomi Watts scored some major brownie points on Wednesday when she took her eldest son, Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete, to meet the cast of Bondi Rescue.
The mother-of-two, 50, posted several pictures of the meeting on Instagram, telling her fans that she instantly went ‘from being consistently embarrassing to utterly cool!’

In the first snap, Naomi, 50, and Sasha, 11, are seen huddled in the famous Bondi Beach watchtower.
The critically-acclaimed actress looked casual cool in a khaki boiler suit.
She looked adoringly at Sasha, as they posed alongside Bondi Rescue cast member Trent Maxwell and his fellow lifesavers.
In another frame, Sasha posed outside the famous lifesaver’s headquarters.
He looked every bit the typical teenager in his over-sized ‘Good Boy’ black hoodie and matching shorts.

Naomi is currently in Sydney filming her new movie Penguin Bloom, alongside Walking Dead star Andrew Lincoln.

In the movie, Naomi plays photographer Sam Bloom who suffers a life-altering accident.
While struggling to adjust to her new condition as a paraplegic, she finds hope and solace in an injured magpie chick that her family nurses back to health and names Penguin.
Penguin Bloom is based on the novel by Bradley Trevor Greive and also stars Jacki Weaver, Rachel House, Lisa Hensley, Griffin Murray-Johnston.
It’s scheduled for release in 2020.
