A defiant Wendy Williams put on a brave face on Thursday during her first television interview since it was learned that her estranged husband fathered a child with his mistress.
‘Infidelity is one thing, a full baby is a whole ‘nother topic,’ the daytime talk show host told The View on Thursday.
‘A baby. I’m not changing Pampers, I wanna be pampered! I learned from my mother how to make lemons into lemonade … what am I supposed to do, stay in the house and cry all day?’
Last week, the host of The Wendy Williams Show confirmed that Kevin Hunter, her husband of 22 years, had a daughter with massage therapist Sharina Hudson, 33.

In April, DailyMail.com exclusively reported that Hunter and Hudson were carrying on a long-term affair.
Williams told The View that after she found out about the affair, she ‘didn’t go back and forth’ in trying to decide whether to forgive her husband.
‘You do this, you’re out!’ she said.
She added: ‘That’s why I’m going into season 11 [of The Wendy Williams Show], and he’s changing Pampers.’
But she also conceded: ‘Kevin will always be my family, no matter what and that’s that. Life moves on.’
Since splitting from Hunter, Williams says her ‘dance card has been full’ though eventually she’d like to settle down, saying: ‘I am a wife, not a girlfriend.’
Earlier this summer, Williams put up the New Jersey home she shared with Hunter for sale. She has since moved into a rented apartment in Manhattan.
When The View co-host Joy Behar asked Williams about ‘being addicted to various substances,’ Williams replied that it was ‘just one’ – cocaine.
‘That’s been so over,’ she said. ‘It’s like over 25 years ago.’

Behar then asked Williams about her recent decision to move into a ‘sober house.’
In March, Williams, 54, was photographed checking into a private facility run by the Pure Recovery Network in Long Island City, New York.
She reportedly sought treatment for addiction to alcohol and prescription medication.
‘That was the place to go where you can really plot on the next part of your life,’ Williams told The View.
She described the sober house as ‘rehab without wine, rehab where they take your phone and lock it in a safe, people can’t call me and inject their opinions in my life.’
She said she was a ‘plotative’ mom, adding: ‘I will plot on you.’

She was also asked about why she refused to ‘trash talk’ Hunter in public.
‘I save that for when I get back to my bachelorette pad,’ she joked.
Williams then grew serious when discussing the 19-year-old son she shares with Hunter.
‘It’s not just about young Kevin,’ she said, referring to the couple’s son.
‘Kevin’s not a bad man, big Kev, he’s not a bad man, you just can’t throw away 25 years and then start talking recklessly about the other person,’ Williams said.
‘What does that say about you? I chose him and he chose me.
‘That’s the way it is.’
Williams dismissed rumors indicating that the 10th season of her talk show would be
