Janette sizzled in the stunning ensemble as she emerged in the racy boots ahead of changing into her very best dance shoes.

The stars’ departures come after it was revealed that judge Bruno Tonioli will miss one live show from the current series of Strictly Come dancing for the third consecutive year in order to fulfil work commitments in the United States.

The long-serving judge is to be replaced by actor Alfonso Ribeiro while he travels to the US for a separate, pre-arranged appearance on Dancing with the Stars.

The cross-over means Italian dancer Tonioli, 63 – a hugely popular presence on the judging panel – will miss week five on Saturday, October 19.

The 48-year old, an accomplished dancer in his own right, also won the 19th series of Dancing with the Stars alongside professional partner Witney Carson.

Bruno was not replaced by the BBC during his first unavoidable absence, caused by a scheduling cross-over between the two shows, in 2017.

Week five will see Ribeiro take his place on the judging panel with show regulars Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas and new judge Motsi Mabuse.
