Best Vegas Shows Right Now – If you visit Vegas, you should definitely make time to see a show. We did as visitors, and as a local, we still try to check out what’s new at least once a month. Some have made Vegas their home base because the big names come regularly, and it’s easy to find an interesting new show even if you feel like you’ve been there.
Since there are so many different types of shows, to organize them, here are our top 9 shows in Las Vegas so far. Below that, we have complete lists for each category.

We’re going through as many shows as we can, and here’s a list of our favorites so far. Check back to see our latest reviews and tips on how to get the best deals on tickets.
If this is your first time seeing a show in Vegas, Cirque du Soleil is the way to go. The production quality and talent never fails to amaze us. We saw all the circus shows and some more than once. Below, we’ve ranked them from our favorite to our least favorite.
Pro tip: Even if you’ve seen a traveling circus show, you should check out the one in Vegas. They can do more when the stage is permanent, especially with O and KA.
Extravaganza (las Vegas) Tickets
In general, we prefer Spiegelworld shows to Cirque shows. Circus shows are classic, but we love the humor and talent in Spiegelworld shows. They are all themed variety shows and a bit sad.
Local tip: We love Venice and the Grand Canal shops. Check out our guide for other things to do and places to eat.
Local Tip: If you’re looking for a meal before the show, they’ve just launched SuperFricco, a new dining experience. We will report back once we are able to verify it ourselves.
Best Things To Do In Las Vegas That Don’t Involve Gambling
The Blue Man Group will rock your world, awaken your mind and set your soul free. Leave your expectations at the door and let three bald and blue men take you on a beautiful journey full of music, laughter and surprises.
Our Thoughts: We’ve seen Blue Man Group a few times and it’s always a good time. It is a great show as it reaches audiences across language barriers.
Pro tip: If you’re looking for photos, stop by the meet and greet or backstage where you can try out some of their equipment. They also stay in character, which makes it fun for me (and scary for me, because I’ve never had a blue man stare me in the eye so intently).

Voted “Best Magic Show in Las Vegas” by Las Vegas Magazine two years in a row, Matt Franco’s immersive live show dazzles audiences with his unique illusions. America’s favorite magician is redefining the genre as seen on TV with his signature interactive magic, never-before-seen creations.
Our Thoughts: Matt Franco is a new school wizard. The show was fun for the whole family, and it’s even more special that he does some very special illusions on the night that he shares with you, the audience.
In their new show at the MGM Grand Las Vegas, the Jabbawaukees mesmerize and entertain with fearsome choreography, pulsating music and stunning special effects. This high-tech production brings audiences closer than ever with their signature white masks and intricate dance moves that have elevated the group to the most influential dance troupe in the world. Voted “Best Family Show” and “Best All Ages Show” three years in a row, The Jabbawockies at the MGM Grand is laugh-out-loud sophisticated entertainment.
Top 10 Sexiest Las Vegas Adult Shows
Our Thoughts: We watched the show a few years ago and had a blast. The new show has an even bigger crowd and will dance in your seat. Every time I watch the show, I wish I could dance. Is it too late to study?
Local tip: If you like to collect tickets, they even have an NFT ticket where you can have a reminder forever. Check it out on the Yellowheart app!
Awakening, a new show at Wynn Las Vegas, invites audiences to join the quest of our beautiful heroine and her two traveling companions as they attempt to restore beauty and love to the world. Travel with them to never-before-seen worlds on their journey through a 360-degree theater custom designed for them. Infused with contemporary myth and magic, Awakening comes to life through a combination of dramatic choreography, technology, fantastical creatures and a custom sound system designed to showcase its stunning original musical score.
Legends In Concert (las Vegas)
Our Thoughts: The staging, puppetry and artistry of this show are amazing. There were many moments where we were in awe of the creativity of how they portrayed the characters or how they transformed the setting. The overall story was a bit lackluster and we felt it went too long in some parts. If they work on the story a bit, this show will definitely be a hit.
From the moment the light fades into darkness you are transported to another world… another dimension where the music moves you and the visuals are unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Welcome to the world of iLuminate. Named “Best New Act in America” by America’s Got Talent, the dazzling cast of the nation’s top dancers and choreographers combine with energetic music to create a mind-blowing, multi-sensory live performance experience. As the show progresses, each scene creates a new “room” within “Club iLuminate” where an exciting mix of music, dance, illusion, technology and comedy will be the most fun you’ll ever experience. There is in the dark
Our Thoughts: The show was fun! There’s a bit less of a comprehensive story, but they cover a wide range of music, from current hits to some of our favorites from the 80s, 90s and 2000s. It was really interesting how they used technology.
List Of The Best Shows In Las Vegas (for 2023)
The Chippendales Las Vegas show at the Rio is live entertainment’s sexiest display, and the men give you the heat. Find out because these guys will melt you. It’s 75 minutes of energy and fun as the men dance, strip and sing. That’s right ladies… the most doable men in show business also make sweet, sweet serenades.
Our Thoughts: We have a friend who dances in Chippendales, so obviously had to go see it. 😉 Since two girlfriends were in town, we thought it would be a good opportunity to go (Jacob included). It was a fun time. Even James found it funnier and less bad than he expected.
Local tip: Bring some earplugs. The same applies to all shows that attract bachelorette parties and screaming women. One of them in particular screamed intolerably behind us.
Tournament Of Kings (las Vegas)
Terry Fator is a singer, comedian, ventriloquist and celebrity impressionist who burst onto the national scene in 2007 after winning “America’s Got Talent” (despite Winston saying he won it for Terry). Texas native Terry spent more than 20 years performing on the road, from schools to county fairs, before becoming a Vegas headliner.
Our Thoughts: Terry Fator was the first ventriloquist we saw, and we were amazed at how many characters and voices he recognized. We got a chance to catch up with him before the show and he talked about how he changes up the acts on the show to keep things fresh. It was also interesting to see a portion of his profits go to various charities. Since we’ve seen him, his show has moved from New York to New York, but I’m sure it’s great.
After 36 years of selling out every show, Comedy Cellar has just opened its first West Coast location at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. “The Basement,” as insiders call it, is bringing the iconic, subterranean, Greenwich Village, “brick wall and stained glass,” low-ceiling design and feel — to its new, intimate 300-seat club at the Rio. Even the menu is interesting, as food and bar services are provided by Rio’s world-class chefs and bartenders.
Las Vegas August 2023: Shows, Concerts & Events
Our Thoughts: Living in NYC, we’ve enjoyed checking out its comedy scene. We visited a few different comedy clubs, including the Comedy Cellar, and it wasn’t until we moved back to Vegas that we realized they had a location here as well. It had a similar layout and atmosphere to that of Vegas. We thought we had better talent here than in NYC, but maybe we got lucky with the lineup. However, our theory is that they should be more selective with who they choose here
