The couple, both A-list actors in Asia, fell in love while filming the hugely popular 2016 Korean drama Descendants of the Sun. They kept their relationship under wraps before officially announcing their engagement this summer to anonymous fans, cementing their status as a “Song couple” (a term of endearment for their shared last name).

On October 31, the newlyweds exchanged vows at the famous Shilla Hotel in Seoul before a star-studded guest list, which included many of the couple’s A-lister friends.

The bride looked stunning in a custom haute couture gown by Dior artistic director Maria Grazia Chiuri, the French fashion house confirmed this week on social media. “See the making of haute couture creations,” Dior shared on Instagram. “Here with a sketch for Song Hye Kyo’s wedding dress, designed exclusively by our Artistic Director #MariaGraziaChiuri .”

After the big day, the bride took to Instagram to express her gratitude to fans around the world. “Thank you so much for your understanding and sincere interest,” shared the actor, “and also for blessing us with a loving heart.”
