We have just returned from a wonderful cruise holiday from Hong Kong to Singapore for a Taiwan Vietnam and Bangkok cruise, the ship has just been refurbished to a good standard, a bit disappointed with the lobby, great food and entertainment, . Our cruise from China to Iceland was fun and interesting. The Millennium Celebrity cruise was an enjoyable part of our vacation, but the ship is tired and in need of a major overhaul. I believe the Millennium should get a major makeover in 2019. The Oceanview restaurant was very busy and often very busy to find a seat especially during breakfast. Passengers snapping up private seats didn’t help matters. The furniture at Oceanview is very worn and some of it is almost flimsy. At the start of the cruise service was poor throughout the ship and we had the opportunity to complain. We understand that several passengers have also filed complaints. The service got better after the third or fourth day. With the arrival of the beverage package, almost all passengers find it difficult to get good beverage service.
