The man cleaning the rooms was very diligent. The receptionist was pleasant and accommodating. I really liked the old rustic ambiance, especially the indoor pool.
The room was old. It definitely needs improvement. The bathroom was big but the water from the next room could be seen running down the wall into our room.

The breakfast was good. Cooked English. Very friendly staff and great outdoor areas like the pool and second floor terrace. There is also a well-equipped gym – not pictured online.
Old The cottage is very old. Showers leak everywhere, air leaks, room is old, parking but not easy to get to. Breakfast is not good. Free breakfast with only one option? 2 stars max.
The hotel needs a lot of maintenance. In my opinion, the hotel is not maintained. The furniture looks more than 15 years old. Water leaks stains on the ceiling and peeling paint in the rooms and throughout the hotel. There was no breakfast option for the included breakfast. The gym, KTV lounge and other facilities are closed. There was no kettle, tea or coffee making facilities or crockery/dishes in the room. I had to ask. The four post beds were not firm. He wiggled and screamed in bed. The yard is open to outside seating as we did but only one of the many lights which did not please us. The owners of this hotel should consider a comprehensive maintenance schedule. I’m sure it was a great place in its day and I’m sure it can be again.

Rooms are outdated and run out. Rooms 136 and 137 were in poor condition and not up to standard.
The hot shower does not work even if you advise them in advance before entering. We still have to follow up several times on the status of the request for them to process it. It is very expensive for the quality of the room and the services they provide. Also, despite this being said, the price shown online is confusing as VAT, service charge and social tax are not shown when shopping online.
The room was dirty. Good thing aunty booked only 1 night as a trial. Will not book this hotel again.
