Dancing With The Stars’ Celebs Reveal Their Guilty Pleasures

The popular show’s most animated judges, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, must have applauded when a handful of APHA celebrities beat John Travolta and Beyoncé with their gyrations in front of an enthusiastic audience of 450 people. Ballroom talent included Jacqui Baly, president of BalyProjects, a government affairs and media relations firm; competitive dancer Sonia Jupiter, owner of Sonia’s Dance World; and competitive interview coach JJ Smith.

Victoria A. Lynn Bryant, president of the World Chamber of Commerce of Texas and founder/director of Ambassadors Caregivers, worked with the professional dancers for two months before their colorful presentations; Victor Lee, principal of STOA Architects; Derrick Mendoza, partner at Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP; Danny Nguyen, the genius behind Danny Nguyen Couture, and Tina Zulu, head of Zulu Creative and Kimono Zulu.

Clap and applause for Zulu, who won the mirror ball trophy for a smashing performance of Donna Summer’s disco hit “The Last Dance” with her dance partner, professional ballroom dancer Alex Olivares.
