What leadership experience did you have at the residency? In 2019, I was elected Vice Chair of the Johns Hopkins House Staff Council, a position in which I advocated for the interests of more than 900 residents and fellow physicians. In the academic year 2021-2022, I worked as the administrative director of our department.

What happens after graduation? As a graduate of our T32 research track, I will be spending my seventh and final year at Johns Hopkins Department of Otolaryngology, specifically the Department of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

The fun aspect of training at Hopkins? The sense of camaraderie here at Hopkins is extraordinary. Traditions and residential events made these five years unforgettable. Among the most important is the relay of the running festival between participants vs. residents of Baltimore, an Otto-Bear-Yongology camping trip, and several joint dinners and festivities.
