Fire In Las Vegas Right Now
Around 8:10 p.m., the Clark County Fire Department responded to a call about a structure on fire at 3613 Procian Street near Valley View Boulevard and Twain Avenue.
Current Conditions & Closures
While en route to the fire, dispatchers noted that this address had multiple fires and some structural instability. The first unit to arrive found heavy smoke coming from the Procian side of the building. Additionally, firefighters said “90 percent of the roof collapsed” and the second-floor landing was “structurally unstable.”
Firefighters surrounded the building and set the truck for an aerial master stream, which extinguished the flames.
Firefighters also noted that primary and secondary life searches could not be completed in the interior due to structural instability.

Currently, the cause is not clear and the damage is not estimated. However, business owners in the area told reporter Alyssa Bethencourt that the building was vacant and had recently been occupied by squatters.

Man Found Dead In South Las Vegas Valley House Fire Identified
A shop fire sent firefighters into central Las Vegas on Wednesday, while a huge plume of black smoke filled the city’s sky.
The Las Vegas Fire Department was called at 4:43 p.m. at the tire store near Decatur Boulevard at 4701 Meadows Lane, where flames were coming from the building, according to a fire department statement.
Firefighters said the building was completely destroyed and 16 vehicles were damaged. The fire is believed to be accidental.

By 1:40 p.m., a three-alarm fire was burning near Fort Apache Road and Tropicana Avenue. The fire started at 11.50 pm. Monday, Clark County Fire Department dispatch records indicated.
As of 2 a.m., the fire department had not released any information about the fire, but witnesses told the Review-Journal that it was centered on an apartment complex under construction near the Crossroads Plaza shopping center.
Las Vegas police closed the Tropicana between Fort Apache and Russell streets to traffic, Metropolitan Police Department Lt. David Gordon said.

He told FOX5 officials the fire started in a building under construction. A business and several vehicles were damaged.
Initially, about 100 people from the condo complex were evacuated from their homes. The Red Cross has provided hotel rooms for some people while others are staying
