Peter Luger Steakhouse, a legendary New York institution since 1887, has opened its third U.S. location (and first outside of New York) at Caesars Palace. The restaurant will take over Rao’s former space, combining modern touches with the classic Bavarian aesthetic seen in the Brooklyn original. Caesars Palace will have dry-aged prime cuts. Peter Luger is known for its Porterhouse, thick-cut pork chops, stiff martinis, and a “cash only” policy that, luckily, is waived in Las Vegas.

Spiegelworld presents its latest Las Vegas show, scheduled to debut in the summer of 2024. DiscoShow hosts shows at the Glitterloft on the LINQ promenade, providing a bar and dining experience. The show is based on the disco era of the 1970s, and if other Spiegelworld hits (Absinthe, Atomic Saloon and OPM) are any indication, it will feature a range of acts, mostly a sophisticated, raucous variety show. The new venue (based on a concept created in Scotland) occupies the third and fourth floors of Showcase Mall, with a wrap-around rooftop to capture spectacular views of the street. There are about a hundred taps on standby, pouring a variety of beers and other beverages to match a menu full of tacos, salads, pizzas and other dishes. Complete with an oak-grilled Ribeye, lobster-stuffed fries or a $150 Wagyu burger. Play a shuffle board or an old arcade game. BrewDog brews its beer in small batches, making it one of two breweries on the Strip, along with Trustworthy at the Venetian.

The company behind Universal Studios theme parks opens year-round attractions inspired by classic horror films. Universal is the studio behind classics like Dracula, Wolfman and Frankenstein, as well as more recent hits like The Purge, Chucky and The Exorcist, so expect an immersive experience to send shivers down your spine.
Everything old is new again, especially at the Palms, which has revived several concepts. The re-opening of Ghostbar, which had a brief incarnation as Apex Social Club, is a stunning venue on the 55th floor of the Palms. The new version of Ghostbar features updated decor, an all-new cocktail program (flights and bottle service available) and a revamped entertainment area. Dance the night away to the perfect DJ or come on the weekend to enjoy the soul, funk and live music of Dee Miles and his Midnight Skye show. You’ll find comfortable seating and dancing areas in the main hall or outside on the patio.
After a few months off for renovations, Awakening is back open at the Wynn. The show replaced Le Reve, a water-based stage that shut down during the pandemic. Gone are the synchronized swimmers and high divers. Instead, Awakening is a story of separated lovers, taking elements of Cirque and even a touch of science fiction as it follows the protagonist on a journey that includes colorful costumes, puppets and advanced special effects. From creating 3D sonics from a high-tech sound system to bringing in Academy Award-winning actor Anthony Hopkins to voice the story, no expense was spared. The Horseshoe is now in the building that used to be Bally’s (and an older version of the MGM Grand before that). The new casino resort, renovated and rebranded without exploding, features new restaurants such as Jack Binion’s Steak and Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Sports Kitchen. The Horseshoe is also the main home of the World Series of Poker and stakes its claim as a destination for the gambling crowd. Nothing has been done yet. The Grand Bazaar Shops exterior is being updated to include two multi-story bars: Bottled Blonde and Blake Shelton’s Ole Red honky tonk. And that’s not all. The south tower of the building will be part of the nearby Paris casino, with renovations and additional balconies.
