Santa Fe Park RV Resort was available for two months and was cheaper than Mission Bay RV Resort, so we stayed there first. At the time we paid $975 but their prices have gone up.
Santa Fe was close enough to our house that it wasn’t too tiring to go out every day for a few weeks.
After two months in Santa Fe, we moved to Mission Bay for two months and loved that RV park, although the pool and hot tub in Santa Fe were great. For a month we splurged and upgraded to a bay view floor. You can read about it on our beautiful bay view site in the Mission Bay RV Resort article. One good thing about Mission Bay is that electricity is included in the monthly fee.

Animals find it difficult to move. Nacho’s personality took a turn for the worse when we moved into our house (he became very shy and Scottish) so we were concerned about moving into his motorhome.
We didn’t move the cats until we were settled in the motorhome, which took eleven days. Nacho doesn’t like strangers, so we wanted to get the cats out of the house before we started getting people to pick things up.
Once we felt ready, we loaded the cats into the car and headed to the RV park. This can be the hardest part for cats because they hate cars. The two cats were nervous at first, but it didn’t take long for Tinkerbell to warm to her new home. Nacho took a while, but within an hour he was comfortable. Now that we’ve successfully moved them, I’m wondering how they’ll perform when firing up the diesel engine for the first time.

Once we were living full-time in our motorhome and enjoying our life at the Santa Fe RV Park, I knew we had made the right choice. September was still warm enough to have a few days to enjoy the pool!
