Bowling is an easy and fun way to spend a few hours indoors when it’s not nice outside. Wichita offers many options when bowling is the activity of choice. Seneca Bowl offers shoe rentals for $6 all-you-can-eat per person from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum has what you’re looking for. Children’s World will open today’s tech-savvy youth to the toys of previous generations.
For a little adventure, spend a few hours walking among other moms and petting a T-Rex at the World Treasures Center. The museum is open daily and offers family nights on the first Tuesday of the month.

Introduce your kids to the glory of the 80s in arcade games and pinball machines! The arcade in Old Town lets kids 8 and under play all day for $8 – kids 9 and older play for $10. For the latest games, head to Dave & Buster’s.

The PBS Kansas Center for Learning and Discovery helps children develop their STEM skills, so they can discover their potential. Aimed at children aged 2-10 – but we guarantee the whole family will enjoy this free centre, which is open from 10am to 4pm weekdays.

About The City Of Wichita

Wichita parents are lucky to have so many options,… Wichita is known for its affordability, so it’s no surprise that the city is full of free, purchasable things. From the famous Keeper of the Plains statue to unique outdoor art, it’s easy to visit the heart of the state and stay on a budget.
In the center of Wichita, Guardian of the Plains, is an impressive 44-foot-tall metal sculpture by Blackbear Bosin, standing at the confluence of the Big and Little Arkansas Rivers.
