Tasty. Honest. Innovative. Located minutes from where I lived at St. Georges Terrace, Greenhouse is an eco-friendly place with international cuisine. All the materials used, from the fixtures to the floor surface to the furniture, are raw and recycled.
While the interior is full of charm and little details, I have to say that the vertical gardens that cover the walls of greenery were my favorite. How nice is that? There is also a roof garden that produces fresh produce for the kitchen and bar. I highly recommend eating here and experiencing this unique space for yourself.

Family-owned Caversham Wildlife Park displays the largest private collection of native wildlife in Western Australia. You can learn about and see a variety of unique plants, birds, reptiles and mammals (red fox, dingoes, llamas, echidna), but the most exciting for me were the marsupials (bats, wallaby, kangaroo, wombat and koala).
The park allows for an interactive experience by feeding kangaroos, joeys and wallabies. During certain hours you can also get close to the koala (can’t touch it) to take a photo. CWP pride themselves on their unique interactive experiences with Australia’s most interesting animals, without being commercialized and retaining the relaxed Australian touch.
In this photo I saw another koala and heard the rustle next to me. That was the result when I turned around and he was right there, so in my case I got very close. An absolute must-do of all the things to do in Perth!
