Our previous experience with an all-inclusive resort in Antigua has made us skip this type of property ever since. During our last trip to Mexico, we decided to try again and booked Dreams all inclusive Tulum. Was our experience better than last time? At hand, yes!

Tulum is about 75 miles south of Cancun. Dream properties are located throughout Mexico and the Caribbean. The all-inclusive Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa is just minutes from the famous Tulum Ruins, a popular activity in the area. Overall, we found their website full of great planning information and really true to the rooms, food and experiences they offer.

We booked the Preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean Front. The size of a room was smaller than we are used to for a suite, but that was fine. The king bed was the main part of the room with a small sitting area to the left. The Preferred Club was an additional option at this all-inclusive resort in Tulum. It offers exclusive areas such as the Private Preferred Club lounge, pillow menus, upgraded toiletries, upgraded bar service and private beach beds.

There was also a balcony which was quite narrow with 2 small chairs. The immediate view was of the pool, but the sea can be seen in the distance.

Finally, the bathroom was quite spacious with a double sink, a nice shower and bathtub. The air conditioning was strong enough and kept the room very comfortable. All in all a very pleasant stay at this all inclusive property in Tulum.

One of the main reasons we visited this area was to discover the beautiful beach, so we narrowed our search to hotels in Tulum, Mexico on the beach. Since we were in the Preferred Club, there is a reserved stretch of beach that offers better sunbeds, cabanas and dedicated bar service at this Tulum property.

One of our beach days was spent enjoying the cabins, such a comfortable place! There were also hammocks spread out to enjoy. The best part of the favorite area for us was that the crowd was less even though we were there in peak season in July.

The quality of the drinks and the servers in the favorite section were incredible! The drinks were well made, the liquor selection was plentiful and the staff were very friendly. Absolutely the kind of service we expect at Tulum luxury hotels.

Due to the amount of food we ate during breakfast, we rarely took advantage of the lunch options, but the main pool area had casual options to enjoy. There was always a selection of burgers, hot dogs, pizza, nachos and other grilled items available around the pools.

There is no shortage of culinary options as part of the all-inclusive Tulum resort. Some of the options include Mexican, French, Pan-Asian, Italian-Mediterranean and sushi. Quality and variety make this the best all-inclusive resort in Tulum!

There are also a number of upgrade options for dining experiences. In the Italian-Mediterranean restaurant Portofino there is a wine cellar. It offers a pre-set dinner option in the winery. As a benefit for preferred members, dinner in the canteen is free. Don’t miss this experience!

We dined on Caprese, risotto, steak and prawns. The highlight of the meal was ending with the favorite banana dessert prepared at the table! It was our favorite dining experience at the Dreams Tulum hotel!

As another updated option, we could have dinner on the beach. One of our favorite romantic vacation activities is enjoying dinner on the beach whenever possible. There is a deck set up on the property with private tables and direct ocean views. We also enjoyed the steak as part of this romantic dinner, so nice!

The only advice is to bring bug spray. Since the platform has shades to divide the sections and provide privacy, the airflow does not move and we experienced the most errors here.

Best Family Hotels In Tulum, Mexico • Flying With A Baby

The grounds are extremely lush and well maintained. There are 2 pools on the property, one a bit more suitable for children while the other was more for adults.

The main pool area hosts events throughout the day, while the upstairs pool had a more relaxed atmosphere. There are options for everyone at the all-inclusive Tulum Resort & Spa.

Although we didn’t have time to enjoy the spa, there was one on site. We also saw people getting quick services on the beach, generally so many options to relax and unwind.

The main courtyard area was often set up with events such as this street market which took place right on the property.

As Preferred Club members, our favorite bar was the Preferred Club Lounge. The lounge offered not only cocktails but light fare throughout the day.

Overall we enjoyed our 4 day stay at Dreams all inclusive Tulum Resort & Spa. It was a perfect way to relax and use up some of our vacation days this year. The quality of service, food and activities make all-inclusive properties an option for us again! We highly recommend Dreams Resort Tulum, Mexico for your next vacation.
